{"id":3908,"date":"2017-07-11T16:30:46","date_gmt":"2017-07-11T14:30:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ohsas.sk\/courses\/obsluha-motorovych-pil\/"},"modified":"2024-05-28T08:56:08","modified_gmt":"2024-05-28T06:56:08","slug":"obsluha-motorovych-pil","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.ohsas.sk\/en\/courses\/obsluha-motorovych-pil\/","title":{"rendered":"Hand chain saw operator"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ohsas.sk\/plan-kurzov\/\"><strong><i>\u2192<\/i><i> Training date<\/i><i>\u00a0<\/i><i>\u2190<\/i><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>A hand-held chainsaw may only be operated by a person of legal age, who is medically fit and holds a hand-held chainsaw operator&#8217;s licence.<\/p>\n<p><strong>We provide training for all types and classes of selected agricultural machinery and equipment:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Training of manual chainsaw operators in timber harvesting (felling, debarking and handling of timber in normal and calamity harvesting)<\/li>\n<li>Training of hand chainsaw operators in other activities (carpentry, construction, artistic activities, tree crown cutting and finishing, timber dressing and cross-cutting)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>Vocational training of hand chainsaw operators in logging:<\/h3>\n<p>Operation of a hand chain chain saw in the felling, debarking and handling of timber in normal and calamitous logging operations.<\/p>\n<p>The content of the training is a theoretical part focused on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>health and safety issues in logging and timber handling regulated by legislation and other regulations to ensure health and safety at work,<\/li>\n<li>the technological procedures for harvesting and handling timber,<\/li>\n<li>inspection and maintenance of the hand-held chainsaw, including maintenance of the cutting section,<\/li>\n<li>the principles of first aid,<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The practical part of the training focuses on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>vertical and combined cuts,<\/li>\n<li>venting,<\/li>\n<li>harvesting of timber in the stand,<\/li>\n<li>handling of timber.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Training of hand-held chainsaw operators in other activities:<\/h3>\n<p>Operation of hand chain chain saw in activities &#8211; carpentry, construction, art, cutting and finishing of tree crowns, finishing and cross-cutting of wood.<\/p>\n<p>The content of the training is theoretical part focused on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>health and safety issues in other activities and handling of timber regulated by legislation and other regulations to ensure health and safety at work,<\/li>\n<li>technological procedures,<\/li>\n<li>inspection and maintenance of the hand-held chainsaw, including maintenance of the cutting section,<\/li>\n<li>the principles of first aid,<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The practical part of the training focuses on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>starting and stopping the saw<\/li>\n<li>installation of the cutting bar and chain<\/li>\n<li>fuel handling<\/li>\n<li>sawing<\/li>\n<li>maintenance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The theoretical part of the training ends with a written examination in the form of a test.
